#LateOrientationCamp

So first things first! I HAVE A TWITTER AND INSTAGRAM (I have a daily photo journal via instagram) SO #FOLLOWME, NOW: @SOO_GROSS
Secondly, this past weekend I was #forced to go to a camp for AFS (American Field Service), which is the organization I am over here with. Anyways we spent a lot of time playing games and talking about our feelings and being told things I'm technically not supposed to do. There were I believe 18 students from all around the world; China, Japan, Poland, Turkey, Spain, Brazil.. you get the point, we were #multicultural.  Oh and we talked in hashtags a lot so that explains that. (DISCLAIMER: Pretty much none of these photos were taken by me).

Walkin' to the youth hostel with chur boy Csaba.

Csaba, Weronika, and me sitting on a #couch.

Playing some weird game you have to know left from right to play... Which I don't. #StupidAmerican

Not really sure whats going on here but it looked cool so go with it.

#LAWLZ

Just fucking #precious!

Omg how #neat we spelled AFS.

Just throwing chips cause 0 fucks.

They blind folded me and Hanzge and made us walk through a maze. It went well......

La camp advisors. #Lawlz I'm older than one of them.

David and me walking and I'm playing with a potato on his phone...

Doing some kind of #cult chant thing.

Follow the leader? Fuck I don't know what we were doing.

Rollin' With the Homies

So today we got out of school at 1:00 instead of 3:30, so of course I went to the city to go shopping for a few things: shoes, a scarf, sweaters and a jean jacket. While I was in H&M I happen to run into a few girls from my class and they took me with them to go get lunch and waffles and coffee after.
Such a beautiful fall day!

Andy and Laura

Me and Minou trying to figure out how in the world to roll a cigarette.
(Disclaimer: I don't smoke)

Miserably failing!

Laura giving it a shot!

Laura giving Minou instructions on how it's done. ;)

Not long after I got home my host mom and me went for a run in the forrest on the mountain!

STUTTGART INTERNATIONAL

This weekend my host brother (Matze) took me with him and his friends to Stuttgart. The capital of the state Baden-Wurtemberg which just happens to be the state in which I now reside, and for those of you who don't know its the big yellow one near the bottom:

Anyways we went shopping.. Well the guys did anyways. It was Matze, and his friends Lucas and Steffen. I think they're both 19 and Lucas's sister.
Steffen and Matze

Matze

blurry but Matze and Steffen again.

Then that night Matze got a bit.. Drunk...
It was a very important message
.....

I'm just glad he didn't throw up in my bed.

Anyways that was my eventful Saturday. And then on Sunday we had a birthday party for the middle brother Markus!!
Andy, the oldest brother.

The Grandfather on the moms side of the family.

Markus cutting his birthday cake. A whole 23 years old and he can still stand.

Random Scheiße

Heres some photos from a city festival from my first weekend in town and also other random things you may or may not be interested in.
View of the set up tables and people gathered around consuming none other  than German beer.
Me and the host sista Sarah drinking what I believe were mojitos at the city festival.

Just causal being American in Germany

My secret stash of sugar filled treats I keep in my room at all times.

I took a walk to take some photographs of some places around where I live. This is one of the bus stop that is about 200 meters from my residence.

Just a typical selfie.

We were supposed to make a diagram about how computers work or something like that and because I didn't understand the instructions I made a mind map about myself... WHOOPS!

Sarah getting her first tattoo! How exciting!!

A play train set at my host dads parents house.

Just a shot of a German tattoo shop!

Class Trip

We're gonna take a step back in time and catch up on some of the adventures of the first month.
These are all from a class trip I took 4 days after arriving in Germany. They sure don't waste a second of your time.
A bird exhibit and show.  Each bird was chained to a post by their foot.

Germans version of bowling. There are 9 pins instead of 10 and they are set up in a diamond shape.

Their "bowling" ball.

Class competition. Each class had to come up with a skit to preform for the class.

So we made the guys into pretty girls.

They even wore make up. It's safe to say we won.

My lovely roommates and myself. We stayed the night in a youth hostile.
